This year buses will start their runs at 7:30am. Students are asked to be at the bus stops by 7:25am. There have been several route changes as well. Make sure that you check the link below to familiarize yourself with the routes and bus stops. Bus Routes

The previous edition of the MQP app ended during June of last school year. We have however developed a replacement, and will test it out this year. This is not a traditional app that you download from the Apple App store, or Google Play store, it is more like a webpage that you add to your phones home screen. The chief difference between this and the last app is that it is unable to send notifications. However, it will contain all the same information. School will reopen for students on Wednesday, September 4th. Students in Gr. 1-6 will start their day at the normal time for this school year, 7:50am. Students in Kindergarten will begin their day at 10:30am. Our building security policy applies to the first day of school. Therefore, parents/guardians will not be permitted to escort children to their classes, with the exception of parents/guardians of Kindergarten students who will be permitted to escort their child to class on the first day only. As in past years, staff will greet students upon their arrival to ensure that all students get to their new classroom safely and efficiently.

Just in case you forgot, there is an new daily bell schedule at Mary Queen of Peace this year. Our opening and end times have changed. This was sent out at the end of last year, but that was a long summer ago! Our daily schedule is now: 7:30am - Buses begin Pick-Up 7:50am - Doors Open 8:10am - Class Begins 9:40-9:55am - Recess 11:25am - Lunch 12:10pm - Afternoon Classes Begin 2:10pm - Class Ends/Dismissal 2:20pm - Buses Depart
