Give a Book, Take a Book Picnic
Dear Families, We are delighted to announce that we will be having a school-wide literacy activity, which will involve a cohorted book picnic from June 13th-17th. In preparation for this event, we are inviting students to contribute by donating a gently used book(s) from home. We will be accepting book donations from Tuesday, June 7th to Friday, June 10th, which will give us plenty of time to ensure all books are sanitized and ready for distribution. Please note, donating a book is not mandatory. The book picnic will take place at our school from Monday, June 13th until Friday, June 17th at which time each child can choose a book of their choice for the outside picnic, and then bring the book home. Each class will determine a time that is good for them and your child’s teacher will let you know the date for their class.
