This is a reminder that Mary Queen of Peace will be closing 1 hour early on Thursday, May 18th for staff to participate in the NLESD's process of developing a new Strategic Plan for 2023-2026. The District is required under The Transparency and Accountability Act to complete a strategic plan, and are currently conducting focus groups and obtaining feedback from stakeholders on the priorities for the new plan. Buses will do their regular routes, but will depart the school parking lot after dismissal at 1:10pm. At this time, we would also like to remind you of our upcoming Professional Learning days on Friday, May 19th, and Monday, June 5th. Monday, May 22nd is also a national holiday. There will be no classes for students on these days. Thanks and kind regards, Erin Dawe
