  Due to the inclement weather forecasted for this afternoon school will be dismissing 3 hours early today. For Mary Queen of Peace that will be 11:10am.  If you have any specific transportation needs or changes please contact your students teacher or the school.

  Due to the forecasted weather today schools will be closed. We will see you back here on Monday, Jan. 8th. It will be Day 2 on the cycle. 

  December is a busy month for everyone, including the school! Make sure you check the newsletter to see what is happening. Pay particular attention to our upcoming dates, and our holiday activities for the month. Which has shortened after family consultation last year from 12 days to 8 days and has had several cuts, including Mummers parade and a minimum of dress up days.  December 2023 Newsletter

We just received word from district that schools will dismiss one hour earlier today. This is to ensure all school traffic will get home safely ahead of the expected snow while minimizing impact to instructional time. MQP will dismiss at 1:10 pm.  We are asking  all families  to email your child’s teacher to let them know how your child will be going home today (pick up, bus, etc) even if there is no change to their usual routine. 

  Don't forget, there will be no school for students on Monday, Nov. 20th due to teachers taking part in a professional learning day. School will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 21st, which will be Day 4.
