Back to School Memo (Updated)
Welcome back to the 2018-19 school year!
School will reopen on Wednesday, September 5th for students in grades 1-6 at regular time. Doors will open at 8:00am. Students in Grades 1-6 will be dismissed at 2:25pm. Kindergarten students will begin at 10:30am and be dismissed at 2:15pm for the first day only.
Please note that our building security policy will remain into effect on the first day of school for students in grades 1-6 as it has been for the past 5 years. Caregivers will not be permitted to take your children to their classes. Staff will be assigned to each floor and door entrance to greet the students and to assist them in getting to their classes. This procedure works extremely well. Caregivers of Kindergarten students will be permitted to take their child directly to the class on the first day only. We ask for your cooperation with this process.
Cafeteria services will begin on Monday, September 10th. Students will be expected to bring along their own snacks, lunches and beverages during the first week. Our breakfast program will begin on Tuesday, September 18th.

Curriculum night is scheduled for Thursday, September 20th. Details will follow.
We are looking forward to another great year at MQP! School Newsletters will be distributed on the first Friday of each month. The September Newsletter will be distributed through our School Messenger System along with our School Information Booklet containing important school policies and procedures by Wednesday, September 12th.
