Gr. 6 Keenan Botanical Garden Performance Rescheduled for TONIGHT

Tickets from last night are good to use tonight. 7pm start.

Here is some important information:

There will not be parking at the Botanical Gardens however they have a free shuttle service for everyone to use. You will park your car at the Marine Institute. There will be a shuttle running every 20 minutes or so that will bring you right to the door. When it’s time to leave, you can grab a shuttle back to your car.

We are singing at 7:00, which means we need to meet around 6:45 to line up. Because the shuttle is running in intervals of 20 minutes, I would recommend arriving at Marine Institute between 6:15-6:30.

When you arrive someone will point you in the direction of the gazebo, where the students need to meet.

Students that are singing get in for free however anyone else that is attending must purchase a ticket. Tickets are limited and purchased online. Tickets at the door are based on availability - they will only available at the door if the evening has not already sold out online.

Choir members can wear whatever they wish, and I definitely encourage Christmas hats and other festive accessories. It’s very important that they dress appropriately for the weather as we will definitely be singing outside.

Doors to the event open at 6:00 (if you want to get your exploring in before we sing!). We will be done singing around 7:30 and the garden will be open until 9.

Once we finish singing, your student(s) will come find you in the “audience” and you will take them from there.

There is more information on the Facebook event “Merry & Bright Light Festival· Hosted by MUN Botanical Garden”, as well as at the Botanical Gardens website http://www.mun.ca/botgarden/ (which is also where you can purchase the tickets).
