Micro:bit and Scratch Club

Image
If you have a student interested in signing up for Micro:bit Club or Scratch Club, send them to the library this week and ask for a permission slip from Mr. Walter. Micro:bits are small circuit boards created for the purpose of physical computing education. They can be coded with block coding, and have various senors and radios that allow them to interact with the user, other micro:bits, and the world around them. Scratch is a block based coding system designed at MIT to help foster computer science education. Students can code a large of variety of things using it, from music, games, and telling stories. Both activities will take place at lunch time in the library. See the attached images for dates and times. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Walter.
