Great MQP Chess News!

Congratulations to MQP Chess Club students Jasper Kennedy and Owen Stack (Grade 1) , Liam Collins and Mateo Weymouth (Grade 2), Aathmihan Logendraraj (Grade 4), Nolan Ash, Meadow Kennedy and Noah Macdonald (Grade 5), and Frank Chen (Grade 6) who played in the Canadian Chess Challenge Eastern Regional School Chess Tournament held on Saturday, February 16, 2019. A special congratulations to Jasper Kennedy who placed 2nd in the Grade 1 category and Mateo Weymouth who placed 2nd in the Grade 2 category across the eastern region and who have qualified for the Provincial Final Tournament to be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Corner Brook on March 16th.
