Students and staff of MQP are going on a school wide trip to the Cinema at the Avalon Mall on Thursday, December 19th to see the movie “Elf” as part of our 12 Days of Christmas activities. All classes from Kg to Grade 6 will attend and the movie will begin at 10:00 a.m. There is no cost to the students for this trip. Since the cinema is showing this movie at this time specifically for our school, it is not open to the public, thus parents/caregivers will not be permitted to attend. No volunteers are needed as the students will be accompanied by our teachers, student assistants and administration.
We will begin loading the buses at 9:00 a.m. and will be returning to the school by Noon. Thank you to Citywide for donating the bus transportation for this outing. There will be no cafeteria services on this day so students are reminded to bring along their lunch. Students will not be permitted to purchase snacks at the movie so they will have an early recess and they will have their lunch as soon as they return.
Permission slips are to be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher by Tuesday, December 17th.
