 This is our first time using the built in video conferencing tools from OPTIS, so there are few things to be aware of. If you are a family that would like more than 2 people to take part in the video interview please let your classroom teacher know before the conference starts . By default the system only lets the teacher and the account that registered for the appointment to take part.  The link that OPTIS generates to enter the meeting can not be shared . Please let the classroom teacher know if you need additional people in the meeting.  There is no app. However you can use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to do the video interview.   Due to family conferences starting at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 31st, students will be dismissed at 10:50am.  School resumes Thursday with a normal schedule. It will be Day 4 on the cycle.  Easter Break will start on Friday, April 2nd.  School starts again on Monday, April 12th. It will be Day 5 on the cycle. 

  The OPTIS interivew book system is currently linked on the front page of the schools website, and below. If you have not used OPTIS before you can use the link at anytime to complete the registration process. OPTIS will open on Monday at 9am for parents to book spots for family-teacher conferences. Please ensure you select phone or video conference.  OPTIS will close for booking new interviews on March 29th at 2:30pm. Interviews will take place on March 31st, between 11am-7pm. Return to School: We are delighted to see our student return to in-class instruction on Thursday, March 18th, 2021! Online instruction will end on Wednesday, March 17th. Thank you to our staff for their hard work, commitment and dedication in providing top notch learning for our students during this unprecedented time! They are to be commended on an outstanding job! Way to go staff of MQP! School Opening: Doors will open at 7:50am and classes will begin at 8:10am. We encourage all students to be at school by 8am to prepare for class instruction.  Wearing of Masks: The wearing of masks while travelling on the school bus will continue to be mandatory for all students. Students in Grades 4-6 will be required to wear masks at all times as well, including sitting in desks in classrooms. (Non-medical masks are acceptable for students) Primary students are encouraged, but not required to wear masks while in school. Students are encouraged to wear masks during Gym and Music, but are not mandat

  There will be no school for students on Friday, March 12th. Teachers will be taking part in a full day long PL session.  There is also no school on Monday, March 15th, due to a district wide school holiday. School will resume on Tuesday, March 16th, and it will be Day 6.  Further updates about the locaation and plan for schooling should be available this afternoon.
