Mary Queen of Peace News

As you may recall, last February Mary Queen of Peace started using the SafeArrival system to record student absences. This system reduces the time it takes to verify student attendance, makes it easy for you to report your child’s absence, and helps staff respond to unexplained student absences. Parents/Guardians are asked to read the attached document and record student absences in this manner. If a student will be absent for a partial day, you can input full day, and our office staff will make the change once the student arrives at school. The SchoolMessenger system will call out in the mornings on any absences that are unexplained. Thank you. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the school. Safe Arrival Memo

Chartwells will resume service this Monday, Sept. 11th. All orders should be made through the Chartwells Portal . It is very important that you log in and make sure your students information is updated. Left alone, it will show their teacher and room from last year, which is where the food will be sent at lunch time. Last year there was a long delay delivering food for several days as students had to be located in different parts of the building.

Hello everyone, We have had a great day settling back into school at MQP. We are writing at this time to clarify some very important information regarding bussing. Please read the following information carefully. It applies to all families who live in our school zone. MQP has been selected as one of the schools where the Family Responsibility Zone has been removed for the 2023-24 school year and therefore some bus routes/stops/times have changed since last year. It is very important that your child(ren) go to the bus stop that is designated for your address in the Bussing Parent Portal at both pick up and drop off times. We are asking that all families confirm their child's route and stop using the Parent Portal and only use this bus stop.
