If you want to sound good while using your instrument, make sure you check the March Band Schedule so you know when to bring your instrument to school. March Band Schedule

Makerspace at MQP! Thanks to BrilliantLabs and Ms. Rose!

Image
A Lego We-Do robotics kit arrived! The first component of our new makerspace. Recently Ms. Rose completed an application from Brilliant Labs for a Makerspace and had it approved! A makerspace is a work space inside the school that focuses on making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses a variety of tools, some high tech, and some very low tech. Based on Ms. Rose's approved application the new makerspace includes a large variety of making tools, including K'nex education kits some coding robots (ozobots and Beebots) several sewing machines A 3D Printer! A special thanks to Ms. Rose for all the work that she put into the application. Everyone at Mary Queen of Peace is excited about being able to access some of these great learning and making tools. And thanks to Brilliant Labs for providing the funding and expertise in purchasing and planning out new makerspace.
